An informative talk about eradication of human trafficking and under-aged rape crime was held at Technological University ( Pinlon) in the town of Loinlin in Shan state (east) this morning. 


First, Shan State women’s Affairs Association patron Daw Nan Shwe Myint and members gave out handouts to the attendees. Then, Pinlon Technological University principal Dr Tun Myint and Shan State Women’s Affairs Association acting chairman Daw Nyo Nyo Lwin made speeches. 


Afterwards, police officers from No 15 Anti-human trafficking squad explained the history of human trafficking, offences and punishments relating to Anti-human trafficking law. Then, a police officer from Loinlin Myoma police station gave a talk about under-aged rape crimes. 


The talk was heard by Loinlin District Women Affairs Association chairman Daw Aye Aye Lwin and members, the township Women’s Affairs Association chairman Daw Ni Htwe Naing and members, faculty members and students from Technological University ( Pinlon) and Computer University ( Pinlon).—Moe Lwin Oo ( Pinlon)
