Kyaukme, 19 August 

Family members of fallen policemen were provided with financial assistance in the meeting hall of Kyaukme District Disaster Management Department in Shan state (north) this morning.

At the event, U Thein Win Tut, head of the district DMD provided  K 300000 each to the family units of three policemen who were killed in the ambush at Gotetwin bridge police outpost on August 15.

The financial assistance were accepted by Police Major Kyaw Mya Than, head of Kyaukme township police station on behalf of the bereaved.—Kyaukme Disrict IPRD
