Hlaingbwe 21 August

An event to mark the International Youth Day 2019 was held at a monastery in Naungtaing Village, Hlaingbwe Township in Kayin State on 20 August.

On the occasion, the leader of township youth network U Sithu Htay introduced historical background of the youth policy, ongoing procedures, formation of the township level committee, participation of the youths and emergence of good youth leaders.

The event was participate by 70 youths from two village-tracts and concerned officials replied to queries raised by those present.—Khin San Myint (IPRD)
