Mahlaing, August 26 
    

A man died after he fell down from scaffolding set up for digging a well in Mahlaing township, Meikhtila district, Mandalay region yesterday afternoon.

While Nay Min Hlaing and Hlaing Wunna Phyo were digging a well in the house of Daw Le Le Mu in ward-2, Nay Min Hlaing climbed up onto scaffolding with a height of seven feet to induce water from the well. He was thrown out of the scaffolding by air burst out at high pressure from inside the tube well. In the incident, he received injuries to his forehead and had his neck broken. 

He died of injuries while receiving medical treatment at a hospital. The policemen are investigating into the case whether there was a foul play.—Bo Bo ( Mahlaing)
