A total of 23,740 acres of land have been put under cultivation of monsoon paddy in seven townships of Naga Self-Administered Region (SAR) in Sagaing region as of August in 2018-2019 fiscal year, according to the record of Sagaing Region Agricultural Department.


The department has put 4,058 acres of land under cultivation of monsoon paddy in Leshi township, 319 acres in Mopainglut township, 5,719 acres in Lahe township, 1501 acres in Htanparkway township, 2,476 acres in Nanyun township, 4,650 acres in Donhee township and 5,007 acres in Pan Saung township.


In 2018-2019 FY, the department put a total of 23740 acres of land under cultivation of monsoon paddy as of August in seven townships of Naga Self-Administered Region, in Sagaing region. Now, the department targeted to place a total of 24790 acres of land under cultivation of monsoon paddy in this fiscal year, according to the Sagaing Region Agricultural Department.—Win Oo (Zayyardine) (Translated by Hay Mar)
