Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint arrived back in Yangon after attending the 88th Izmir International Trade Fair held in Izmir, Turkey.

He attended Izmir Business days in Izmir on 5th September.

On the same day, the Union Minister met with Izmir Chamber of Commerce, AEGEAN Chamber of Industry and AEGEAN Exporters’ Association and discussed collaboration in the matters related to private sector, trade and investment between two countries.

He, then, attended the dinner hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Trade in the evening.

In the morning of September 6th, he attended China-Turkey Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum.

The Union Minister also separately met with Chairman of Turkey – China Business Development and Support Association and the members and Turkish Minister of Trade, Mr Ruhsar Pekcan. They discussed promoting Myanmar – Turkey – China trade and collaboration between two countries in the matters of commerce promotion. The Union Minister attended opening ceremony of the 88th Izmir International Trade Fair held at Izmir Culture Park in Izmir, Turkey in the evening .
