BLOOD donation ceremony marking 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was held at National Blood bank in Yangon at 9 am yesterday.

 At the event, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Saurabh Kumar delivered his key note speech. 

Then, Deputy Director General Dr Daw Thida Aung talked about the benefits of donating blood and Joint Secretary of Committee on 150th Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, U Soe Win explained about the donation. 

About 250 people donated blood. The 150th Birthday Celebration of Mahatama Gandhi will be held at Thein Phyu Stadium on September 28th.
