Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun, in his capacity as the chairman of BGB, presided over the meeting that aimed to discuss and review mechanical, administrative and policy affairs.

The Deputy Minister called on the discussions of BGB member media organizations how to participate in the Unicode Migration that is a very crucial project for Myanmar, commencing 1st October. Deputy Chairman of BGB and Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung explained the future plan for the development of broadcasting industry of the country.

Acting Director (Finance) U Zeya Min from Myanmar Radio and Television reviewed the implementation of decisions made in previous meetings of BGB.

Officials from mechanical division and admin division of MRTV, FM Bagan, Padamyar FM, Cherry FM, Shwe FM, Forever Group Co, Ltd, Shwe Than Lwin Media Co Ltd, Family Entertainment Group, Mizzima Media Company Limited, DVB Multimedia Group Company Limited, Fortune Broadcasting Company Limited, KMA Tele Media Holdings Company Limited and My Multimedia Group Company Limited presented their problems in mechanical and administrative and policy affairs.

The Deputy Minister coordinated the issues.
