Korea Forest Service and Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO) donated forest fire vehicles and computers to Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation at Forest Department yesterday morning.
At the event, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Natural Resource and Environmental Conservation, U Khin Maung Ye delivered his opening remark. Minister Mr Kin Jae Hyun of Korea Forest Service and Executive Director of AFoCO Mr Chencho Norbu delivered Key note speeches.
Then, Mr Kim Jea Hyun and Mr Chencho Norbu handed over documents concerning fire vehicles and computers to Director General Dr Nyi Nyi Kyaw. He presented certificate of appreciation.

Korea Forest Service and AFoCO donated 4 forest fire vehicles and 24 computers to help the department prevent forest fire.
MoU between Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Forest Department and Korea Forest Service on ASEAN-ROK Forest Cooperation regional level training was signed in Nay Pyi Taw on August 1st 2014. The training centre is located in Seed and Seedling center of Forest Department in Hmawbi Township Yangon. The project will last 10 years form 2014-2015 to 2013-2014 .
During the project, ASEAN regional level training center was built and skill trainings, workshops and research were conducted by local and international technicians for the trainees from member countries.
