The final match of the inter-school girl's football competition took place in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at the sports ground of No.2 BEHS in Kawthoung Township, Taninthayi Region on 15 September.

The contest was held by the Sports and Physical Education Department under the township sport development programme (TSDP) with the aim of producing outstanding footballers. In the final game, the team representing BHHS-1 beat the squad representing BEHS-2 4-3 in penalty shootout.    

Next, Chairman of the township sports and physical education committee Township Administrator U Zaw Lin Tun, Chairman of the district football association U Min Lwin, and concerned officials from the SPED presented awards, cash and champion trophy to the winning teams and players.—Kyaw Soe (Kawthoung)
