Myanmar’s Border Guard Police (BGP) and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have reportedly conducted a joint navy patrol on 23 September, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Two patrol boats from Myanmar’s Border Guard Force led by Officiating Police Major Saw Oo from Pyinphyu police outpost, Maungtaw Township made a security patrol in the Naf River from No.5 milepost from No.8 milepost together with two vessels from the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) headed by Subedar Md. Mutaleb Fakir from of Teknaf BOP from BGB’s No. 2 battalion from 10:20 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on 23 September.
