A basic fish breeding and fish hatching course was opened at a hatchery in Thaton, Mon State this morning. The training course is the eight of its kind conducted by the Department of Fisheries.

On the occasion, the Director of the Department of Fisheries U Soe Myint delivered an address. The course instructors give different practical and theoretical methods and trainings about fish farming, hatching, and breeding to the trainees.

The training course is being attended by 27 trainees from the University of Mawlamyine, fish breeders and farmers.
