Two people have died and 24 people were injured after a Faw truck overturned at a roundabout in Pobbathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw.

The accident took place at around 8:55 a.m. on 5 October when a Faw truck flipped over at a roundabout as the driver lost control of the car. 26 people were injured in the accident. Among the injured people, 13 people were serious conditions. The injured people have been transferred to a public hospital in Nay Pyi Taw but two of them were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

The driver was arrested on reckless driving and is being questioned by the police.
