Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than met with locals from Myawady Town, Phalu Village in Phalu Village church compound.

At the meeting Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker said the Hluttaw had the legislative power, the Union Government had the executive power and the Supreme Court of the Union had the judiciary power according to the Constitution. In exercising these powers, the three must not interfere with what the other was doing but need to coordinate with one another. People are urged to openly raise matters and requirements and the Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker will do the best he can.
Next the locals raised education, health, road and bridge requirement matters of the village and Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker gave comments and suggestions to ensure coordination based on the responses of sector wise officials.
Afterwards Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker made cash donations to lay a concrete road in Myawady Town Phalu Village and relevant departmental officials presented cash supports to 69 handicapped persons from Phalu Village Tract.
In his concluding speech, Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker said a policy of “people’s voice is Hluttaw’s voice, people’s wish is Hluttaw’s wish and people’s expectations are fulfilled by the Hluttaw” was being established and for this reason Hluttaw representatives were in constant contact with the people to hear the voices of the people and to learn their wishes and requirements. He thanked the people for openly raising issues and matters and pledged to fulfill the requirements of the people. The Speaker then cordially greeted the locals who attended the meeting.
