The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Myanmar organized the 74th Anniversary of Independence and the 70th Anniversary of Indonesia-Myanmar Diplomatic Relations yesterday at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Yangon.

Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe and wife attended the ceremony which began with the national anthems of both countries.

Indonesian Ambassador to Myanmar Dr Iza Fadri and the Union Minister extended greetings, and had the photo taken together with the attendees before the dinner.

The ceremony was also attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein and wife, Yangon Region Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Lin Naing Myint, ambassadors and Chargé d’ Affaires of diplomatic missions in Myanmar, representatives from UN agencies and the invited guests.
