A training course on weaving plastic basket was opened at a vocational training school in Kyauktan Township, Yangon Region yesterday morning.

First, an official from the Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of the course, saying the training course intents to create job opportunities for rural people. Next, a course instructor introduced and recounted experiences of weaving plastic basket.

The three-day vocational training course conducted by the DRD under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is being attended by 40 trainees throughout the township.
