The Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a mass immunization campaign in Thandaung Gyi, Kayin State this morning.

At the event, Dr. Si Thu San from the Department of Health clarified the purpose of mass vaccination. The department will provide polio vaccines to 13708 children below five years old and inject 12166 children between five and nine years old in the township with vaccination against various diseases such as polio and measles free of charge.—Holy, IPRD
