Mawlu, 26 October

A man was confirmed dead after being crushed by a train in Mawlu Township, Sagaing region yesterday.

The accident took place at around 2:00 pm between Pin Wae station and Mawlu station when a passenger crushed by the train after he fell off it. The passenger died right at the scene, sustaining serious injuries to his legs.

The victim was identified as Kyaw Thu, aged 34.—Ni Toe
