The Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a mass immunization campaign against children under five years old at at a public hospital in Mongyu Township, Tachilek District Shan State.

The vaccination of polio and measles against children in MongyuTownship is the second of its kind.

Medical staff from department of health injected 353 children under five years old in the township with vaccination against various diseases such as polio and measles free of charge starting from October 25 to 29.
