A ceremony to donate an X-ray machine worth Ks. 12 million to a station hospital took place in Taku model village in Taninthayi Township on 29 October.

First, Medical In-charge of the station hospital Dr. Phyo Myint Kyi presented a certificate of honour to the donors. Next, the congregation led by the donors received the “Five Precepts” and Paritta recited by the members of Sangha. Afterwards, the donor family offered cash and deal meal to the members of the Sangha and shared the merit gained.


The X-ray machine is of 200 mA type and is made in China. It is worth Ks. 12 million and equipped at the station hospital to provide necessary medical check-ups to the patients.
