The MPRL E&P Pte Ltd conducted a campaign to raise awareness about the Operational Grievance Mechanism-OGM in the Mann oil field where the oil and gas exploration company is carrying out win-win cooperation with the state-owned Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise.

At the event at Maebaygon Village near the Mann oil field, the MPRL E&P Pte Ltd has displayed its cooperate social responsibilities and sought advices from the public.

Troupe of local school children competed in the contest of dance and songs titled “Advice, Discuss and Cultivate the future generation”.

Over 100 students from 11 Basic Education High Schools participated in the programme.

Performance of the employees of Mann Oil Field and an exhibition of the products produced by the trainees of the vocational courses conducted under the CSR activities have also attracted over 1,500 students and local people.

The OGM has been launched in the Mann Oil Field since 2016 with the aim of establishing friendship cooperation between the organizations in the Mann Oil Field and local people.—MNA
