UNION Minister for Social Welfare,  Relief  and  Resettlement  Dr Win Myat Aye provided cash assistance  for  the  Demawhso  Myoma  charity  school  at  the  Kayah  State  Hall  in  Loikaw  Township, Kayah State yester-day.

The  Union  Minister  also  met with the staff of his minis-try in Kayah State.  

In  the  event,  Kayah  State  Chief Minister U L Phaung Sho and officials said the Demawhso Myoma charity school took care of  parentless,  abandoned  and  poor  children  providing  them  with foods, shelters, education and etc. There are 120 students who were studying from kinder-garten to tenth standard. 

The Chief Minister and officials  reported  on  the  needs  of foods for the students to the Union Minister and party.

Afterwards, the Union Minister  and  party  provided  the  Chief  Minister  and  party  with  K  7.2  million  cash  assistance  for  the  school’s  three  month  food supply.

The Union Minister, Deputy Minister  and  party  then  met  with the staff of the ministry in Kayah  State,  and  coordinated  over the matters discussed by the staff. MNA(Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
