With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers at the house of chairman of village Emerald Green Project committee in Ywathitgon Village in Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory this morning.

 

First of all, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of the project and explained rules and procedures of the emerald green projects to be abode by the rural people.

 

Afterwards, an official from DRD handed over K 36.6 million to chairman of village Emerald Green Project committee. Altogether 126 people - 84 people in agriculture business, 33 in livestock breeding business, seven in trading business, two who will attend vocational school received loans of projects.
