UNION  Minister  for  Social  Welfare,  Relief  and  Resettlement, Dr Win Myat Aye, in his capacity  as  Chairman  of  the  Working Committee for Rights of Disabled Persons met with athletes with disabilities at the Myanmar  Paralympic  Sport  Federation  in  Yangon  yesterday. 

During  the  meeting,  the  vice  chairman  of  the  Federation  explained  their  Federation,  preparations  for  the  Paralympic  Games,  Asian  Para Games and ASEAN Para Games,  the  formation  of  the  new Myanmar Federation for Persons with Intellectual Dis-ability, and participation in the 10th Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines. Next, the Union Minister said his ministry is always supporting people living with disabilities by drafting and enacting  laws  that  will  benefit them and forming national committees to implement their protection.

Afterwards,  the  Union  Minister handed over nutritional milk packets for the athletes and discussed ways to continue providing  proper  nutrition  to  them.
