A combined squad from the Myoma police station destroyed about two acres of poppy fields about four furlongs north and west of Khayohnwae Village in Mongkai Township, Southern Shan State from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on 15 November.
    

The Myanmar Police Force has been stepping up campaigns to destroy poppy cultivation throughout the country in cooperation with people, local authorities and civil society organizations.—MOHA
