15 people were injured after a traffic accident between two passenger buses in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
    

The accident took place between mileposts 194/1 and 194/2 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway near Inbintha Village, Lewe Township when a passenger bus with 32 people on board rear ended another passenger bus carrying 42 people and coming from the same direction after the driver lost control of the vehicle. 15 people including one Buddhist monk from both passenger buses were hurt in the incident.
    

Out of the injured people, one man sustained severe injuries and all injured people have been transferred to a public hospital in Nay Pyi Taw. The drivers of the passenger buses are being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.—MOHA
