Madaya, November 19

A collision between a train and a car occurred on Thaye Zay-Madaya section of road in Madaya township, Pyin Oo Lwin district, Mandalay region on 17th November.

 The accident happened between milepost 394/9 and 394/8 at about 5:30 pm when a train from Madaya dragged a car with a burst tyre, stopping alongside the railway. Travellers faced delay as a result of the accident in which the car was badly destroyed. 

Local police officers brought charges against car driver Aung Myo Aye for careless driving.—Soe Kyaw Thu ( madaya)
