Acting on a tip-off, police members led by Police Capt. Aye Min Kyaw from Loi Kaw Anti-Drug Squad-27 and policemen led by Police sub-Inspector Kyaw Soe from Loi Saung Htauk police outpost together with witnesses raided the house of Aik Kyauk and Daw Nan Kham Lu in Loi Saung Htauk Area-1 in Mong Shu Township, Shan state yesterday and seized 4000 stimulant tablets weighing 360 grams worth K 4.0 million and drugs believed to be raw opium weighing one kilogram worth K 600000 and related items in the house.

The authorities filed charges against Aik Kyauk and Daw Nan Kham Lu under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances law.—Township IPRD
