Mongshu 6 December

A total of 22.5 Kg of raw opium was confiscated together with an abandoned motorbike in Mongshu township, Shan state yesterday morning. 

Members of the Army, who were launching security operation, found an abandoned motorbike and a yellow plastic box on it. The military men uncovered the suspected plastic box and seized 15 packets of raw opium, each packet with about 1.5 kg of raw opium.

Action is being taken against the case according to the law.—Township IPRD
