A combined team comprising policemen from Ngape Myoma Police station, in Magway Region destroyed 0.4 acres of poppy fields about six miles south west of Boh Village, Ngape Township and three acres of poppy fields about three miles west of Makang Village on 6 December, according to the information released by the Myanmar Police Force.

In a similar incident, Police members removed 2.8 acres of poppy fields about three furlong west of Naungtaung Village in Loilem Township, Shan State on 7 December while Policemen wiped out 12 acres of poppy fields about two miles west of Naungtavan Village, Shi Sheng Township and six acres of poppy fields about two miles west of Bansauk village, Hopong Township, Shan State.—MPF
