No one was injured in a stall fire in a local market in Shaduzut Village, Kamai Town in Kachin State, according to a source from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The fire broke out at around 11:30 p.m. on 30 December 2019 and engulfed 140 stalls and 11 houses and had ceased about two hours later. The fire started from a stall belonging to a woman identified as Daw Ngwe Oo, 47.

In connection with the case, the stall owner is being questioned by over fire negligence the local police.—MOHA
