Under the guidance of Kachin state government, medical specialists led by Kachin state chief advocate U De Sim Ram provided free medical treatment for local people at emerald green hall in Basic Education High School in the town of Kamine, Phakant township yesterday.

The medical team administered the best treatment to patients from Kamine town and surrounding villages and victims of armed clashes from Line Naung internally displaced camp in Nansi Inn village. The team comprised of doctors from Kachin state people’s hospital and Monyin township people’s hospital has given free medical treatment to about 400 patients in the town of phakant under the guidance of the state government, said the state chief advocate.

In the of Kamine, a total of 245 patients received free medical attention provided by the medical team made up of 16 doctors and a number of paramedics.—Zwe Thura Aung
