A ceremony to conclude an advanced sewing course conducted by Department of Education and Training was held at the Vocational Training School of Domestic Science for Women in Hakha, Chin State yesterday.

At the ceremony, Chin State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Colonel Han Win Aung gave remarks. State Minister for Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang presented a sewing machine to an outstanding in the course. Then, Deputy Director from State Department of Education and Training U Soe Myint gave certificates to the trainees.

Next, the officials looked around the dresses and handicrafts made by trainees. A total of 50 trainees attended the 18-week course.

A total of 37 Vocational Training School of Domestic Science for Women under the Ministry of Border Affairs held closing ceremonies of vocational training. Now, a total of 89896 trainees have been given certificates. 40496 out of them were provided employment opportunities.
