A ceremony to provide cash and kind to internally displaced people from Ann Township, Rakhine State was held at the hall of a basic education high school in Phaai Anaut Village in Sedoktaya Township, Magway Region on 21 March.
    

On the occasion, Director General of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs U Min Aye Ko delivered an address and Director of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Myint Soe clarified the purpose of relief items. Next, on behalf of the displaced people, Regional Lawmaker Daw Nyo Nyo Oo expressed words of thanks. Afterwards, the director-general, the director, the legislator, Township Administrator U Zaw Min Naing, and Commander of the Red Cross Society U Myint Naing Htwe presented cash and kind to the displaced people.
    

During the event, the displaced people were furnished Ks. 200,000 each by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs, Ks. 9000 by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, and relief items by Myanmar Red Cross Society.—Khin Than Hlaing (IPRD)
