As part of effort to prevent against Covid-19, pensioners coming to draw their pensions underwent body temperature scan and were also urged to wash their hands carefully at Myanmar economic bank (Shwebo District Branch) in the town of Shwebo, Sagaing region this morning.

Health staff from Shwebo district Public Health Department, member of Red Cross from the district Red Cross Society and bank staff collectively conducted scanning body temperatures of pensioners, giving out handouts about coronavirus prevention.

 

U Hla Win, a pensioner who lives in ward-10 in the town of Shwebo and came to draw his pension, expressed his view on coronavirus prevention measures.  He said that scanning body temperatures of pensioners and placing water and soaps for them to wash their hands are of great benefit.

 

 The measures promote self-confidence and can prevent  people from contracting the virus, thanks to all officials for taking these preventive measures, said he.—Moe Thauk(Shwebo)
