With monitoring at the border checkpoints, health authorities have been providing health care to migrant workers returning home from Thailand crossing the land borders. Over 2,300 workers returned home across the Myawady Friendship Bridge 2 yesterday.

So far, over 32,600 migrant workers have entered the country through the bridge-2. Kayin State authorities has arranged separate transportation services for the returnees to return home in efforts to quarantine them from public.— GNLM
