A ceremony to conclude a vocational advanced sewing course was held at the hall of Mesinam Village in Mese Township, Bawlakhe District, Kayah State yesterday.

At the event, staff officer of the state Department of Rural Development U Kyaw Thu Aung delivered a concluding speech and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families. 

Then, U Hla Myo Tun from the township General Administration Department clarified the purpose of the course and presented a sewing machine to an outstanding trainee, identified as Naw Mu Kale. This was followed by the presentation of completion certificates to the trainees by U Hla Myo Tun and officials.

The one-month training course which ran from February 24 to March 23 was attended by 20 trainees from Mesinam village-tract in the Township.— Wat Yee, DRD
