A total of 1051 households with irregular income in Kyauktalongyi Township, Taunggyi District, Southern Shan State were provided with foodstuff supplied by the government this morning.

The government is distributing 8 pyi of rice, 50 ticals of cooking oil, 50 ticals of salt, one viss of beans and one viss of onion to every household without regular income across the nation.

With the aim of preventing and controlling the spread of coronavirus, the government instructed the citizens across the nation to stay at home during the outbreak of coronavirus.                                                                 Therefore, people without regular income are being provided with basic foodstuff by the government.

Officials from Township General Administration Department and departmental officials provided the foodstuff to the needy households.
