With the aim of ensuring water security in all season, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking water supply projects across the nation. The water supply projects undertaken in Minbu Township, Minbu District, Magway Region has been completed by 95 percent.
Construction of a 300 ft deep tube well and a water tanker capable of storing 24000 gallons of water in Saishin village, construction of a 400 ft deep tube well, a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and a water plant in Kanne villge, a 300 ft deep tube well, a water tanker capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and a water plant in Paikthin village and a 300 ft deep tube well and a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water in Zeebyugone village are being undertaken with K 77.507 million by Lin Myat Min Company. Now, all the projects have been completed by 95 percent. Upon completion, a total of 4300 people from 970 households in four villages in the township will be distributed drinking water in all seasons.
