A ceremony to provide light fire engines and related items to Okpho and Kyaung Villages was held at the meeting room of the township Fire Services Department in Budalin, Sagaing Region yesterday.

At the event, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Myint Han Tun and Chairman of the township Management Committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin handed over the fire engines and related items to fire fighters from Okpho and Kyaung Villages.

Afterwards, firefighters from the township Fire Services Department demonstrated how to use fire engine when a fire breaks out in the area.

Also present on the occasion were the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Myint Han Tun, Chairman of the township Management Committee U Kyaw Moe Lwin, Staff officer of the Township Fire Services Department U Win Zaw and village Administrators.—Phoe Kha, IPRD
