As part of efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19, officials handed out facial masks and educative leaflets about Covid-19 to sellers and buyers free of charge at the temporary market on the public sports field in the town of Saytottara in Minbu district, Magway region this morning.

Members of Parliaments, the township administrator, members of the township Development Committee, health staff and members of the township police force were involved in the Covid-19 prevention activities. Officials asked sellers and buyers in the market to wear masks, handing out masks and leaflets on how to prevent the risks of contracting the deadly virus. 

Health staff, using hand speakers, also warned local people to wash their hands before entering the market and after leaving it for home.--Khin Than Hlaing (IPRD)
