Mongyoung, April 30

An event to provide medical aid to the township Red Cross Society happened at the office of the said body in the town of Mongyoug in Shan state (east) this morning.

At the event, a local business group producing purfied drinking water donated K 100000 in cash and 200 pieces of masks to the township Red Cross Society in order to help the team prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Members of the township Red Cross Society have been involved in Covid-19 prevention measures, informing local people about the deadly virus and spraying disinfectant at crowded places as well as government and public building.

So, donors from Mongyoung and other towns are offering medical aids and cash aids to the township Red Cross Society.—Sai Aung Zaw Lin
