Kyaindon, May 14

Kyaikdon town administrator U Min Zaw and officials from Disaster Risk Management Department went to KawWarkalay village to provide two affected households with financial assistance in the town of Kyaikdon, Kayin state this morning.

Strong wind carrying heavy rains buffeted the village yesterday afternoon, blowing off the roofs of two houses. Officials from Disaster Risk Management Department gave K 100000 each to the two affected households including some cash aid to buy rice.—Than Tun Naing (IPRD)
