A ceremony to provide cash aids to fire victims in Namtu Township, Kyaukmae District, Shan State (North) was held at Township General Administration Department this morning.

A fire which broke out in the township on 9 May destroyed a house in Panthabyae village in the township. The fire victims from the household were provided cash aids for foodstuff and house repair and rescue kits by officials from the Township Department of Disaster Management.
