Fire broke out in Yenanmataung Village in Minhla Township, Magway Region at about 7:35 on 17 May and destroyed a house.

According to an investigation, the fire was thought to have started from an ember left in the house of Ma Sandar and destroyed a house, according to the township Fire Services Department. But no casualties were reported.

Firemen from the Township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to fight the fire in cooperation with locals and the blaze was successfully extinguished at about 7:45 am.

Authorities filed a case against Ma Sander form her negligence.—Za Za (Ahtet Minhla)
