Seven people were injured after a six-wheeled truck overturned in Paletwa Township, Chin State, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
The accident took place at about 5 p.m. on 16 May when the truck driven by a man named Thaung San aka Mozet, 27, from Ward-2, Samee Town with seven people aboard flipped over after the driver lost control of the vehicle while returning from Pamoung Village. Seven people sustained injuries in the incident while five people are said to be in critical condition.
The injured people were sent to a nearby hospital and the truck driver is being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.—MOHA
