Hlaingbwe, May 18
Hlaingbwe Township Public Health Department this morning resumed giving vaccines to children under two after it temporarily stopping vaccination on April 1 due to coronavirus outbreak.
The vaccination intends to prevent the children from contagious diseases and to help them stay healthy. In order not to form gatherings, vaccines will be given to 50 children a day according to the scheduled plan.
The vaccine given to the children under two was a combination of five vaccines against hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria and whooping cough.—Khin San Myint (IPRD)
