With the aim of distributing drinking water to rural people in all seasons, Minbu Township Department of Rural Development is undertaking water supply project in Pandaung village in Minbu Township, Magway Region. Now, the project has been completed, according to the Township Department.

The department is undertaking construction of 6 feet wide hand-dug well, two water tanks capable of storing 5000 gallons of water, a water plant and installation of 4500 feet long water pipeline with K 16.1 million allocated in this fiscal year. Upon completion, a total of 1100 people from 280 households will be available enough drinking water in all seasons.
