Kyangin, 5 June

An event to provide relief items to storm victims from three village-tracts was held at Ayar Oo Hall in Kyangin Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

First, an official from the Department of Disaster Management explained the distribution process for relief supplies. Next, Township Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Lwin called on the village administrators to supply relief items to storm victims, urging them to prevent local people for natural disasters.

Afterwards, an official from the DDM, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative Dr. Tun Lin Maw, the township administrator and concerned officials furnished the village administrators with cash and kind for four households.
