With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, the township Department of Rural Development disbursed loans to implement emerald green projects to members of village emerald green project committee amid the outbreak of COVID-19 in Tawkyaung Village in Kungyangon Township, Yangon Region yesterday on a door-to-door basis.

Staff led by staff officer Daw Khin Than Aye from the township DRD dispensed K 47.4 to members of village emerald green project committee in the village. Altogether 120 people - 83 people in agriculture business, 21 in livestock breeding business, 13 in trading business and three who will attend vocational school received loans the projects.

Personnel from the township DRD disbursed loan of the project to members of village emerald green project in accordance with rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid outbreak of COVID-19.
